ECAHS 2009 Futurity Nominations

Nominate your mare now for the 2008 ECAHS Futurity. What a way to showcase your offspring and potentially received a monetary payout!

Owner of the nominated mare MUST be a current member of ECAHS (prior to January 1) in order for the nomination to be valid. 2008 Mare Nominations must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2008 providing the foal is not born prior to March 31, 2008. In cases where the foal is to be born prior to March 31, 2008, the mare nomination must be received to the Futurity Chairperson PRIOR to the birth of that foal.

PUREBRED foals must be a least 50% Crabbet bloodlines.

PART-BRED foals must be at least 25% Crabbet

The mare nomination fee of $15 ($10 to futurity and $5 for certification) is due and be postmarked no later than March 31, 2008 providing the foal is not born prior to March 31, 2008. In cases where the foal is to be born prior to March 31, 2008, the mare nomination must be received to the Futurity Chairperson PRIOR to the birth of that foal.

Total futurity fees each year are $50. Foals pay $10+$20+$20. Yearlings and older horses pay $25+$25. Payment dates are April 1 and August 1st.

Prize money in each class will be distributed among the first five places percentage-wise 1st-30%, 2nd-25%, 3rd-20%, 4th-15%, 5th-10%.
