Dear ECAHS Members & Friends:

The year is winding done for ECAHS activities, but there are still a few things to take care of over the next couple of months. By the time you read this, our October 8, Think Tank will likely have come and gone. The highlights of this meeting will be included in a later newsletter. If you have not yet received your ballots for the election of ECAHS Directors, you should see them in the mail very shortly. Please vote, and return your ballots as instructed. It is very important that all eligible ECAHS members exercise their right to vote. Along with your ballots you should receive information regarding the Annual Meeting and Dinner. Please try to attend, and don’t forget to RSVP so that we will be able to tell the restaurant how much food to prepare. The last two major items needing your attention are your membership renewals, if you have not already renewed for 2006, and your Futurity Nominations. Remember that you must be a member in good standing as of Dec. 31, 2005, and your Futurity Nomination must be post marked by January 2, 2006 in order for your nomination to be valid. Both membership and futurity forms may be found in this newsletter.

Please send me farm news, stories and remembrances. Also send in questions that you would like to “Ask the Experts”. If there is anyone out there who would like to contribute to the Crabbet Kids section, please let me know.
